This was one of the best fan-interviews I’ve seen with Tom. The questions are great and personal for the character, therefore incredibly satisfying and soothing in a way. It’s a bit selfish of us but it’s really hard for the long time fans to let Loki go. He’s such a gut-wrenching comfort character that changed my brain chemistry as a little girl. Amazing to see the character’s journey, and yet so bittersweet it hurts. Please please Norns let the sun shine on them again.

I haven't heard the term "comfort character" before but it is so applicable for Loki! I was introduced through a combination of Tom's performance and a series of lovely fanfics by a talented writer whose appreciation for Loki and understanding of his potential also opened his character up for me. Yes, "comfort character" absolutely fits! And when I was worried about what Disney/Marvel might do with the character, I came to realize we could always depend on Tom to protect and defend. Thank you, good sir!!
