It's not important to be better than America. I am American and our talk shows, for the most part, are one actor or actress coming out to plug their product and leaving. Many times they don't even hang out after their segment and they sure as hell don't drink. Idk if it's better than any countries talk shows I'm not sure I've seen any. The banter between the guests on this show and the way everyone just hangs out sets it apart from what we do here in America.

Absolutely agree. An acquaintance of mine is a hugely popular American singer in Europe and has appeared on numerous UK and other European talk shows, but never on Graham's. We are no longer close, but when last we spoke I told her that she seriously needed to consider Graham Norton when promoting her next album. I said that, unlike the talk shows here, in the States, Graham not only gives you time to perform but time enough to also join the other guests on the sofa for a brief interview. Not sure if she ever looked into it as we haven't spoken since February.

he does talk a lot about the stuff that you said on his Facebook page, nearly every week. From Dog Meat festival, to trophy hunters, to fur industries, and many more. sometimes he even put statuses telling his fans to stop buying his DVDs and go donate to help animals instead. I'm not a huge Ricky Gervais follower, so I don't know exactly how much in depth are his contribution to bring awareness to animal welfare, but from what I saw sometimes, looks like he's pretty active to bring awareness on the matter.

Ricky owns stuffed owl. Many taxidermists use only animal which died of natural causes. There's nothing wrong with it. Other taxidermists use animals from hunters (not trophy huters). It's absolutely ok.

Though a little detail , I love how committed and disciplined Tom becomes when he got a role . He went on a strict diet to give Loki a " lean and a hungry look ". Practised for four months to sing eight songs in Hank Williams film ,all by himself . And even in this movie , travelled to various places in contrast to most actors' preference of green screen . He's a true pro devoted to his career . Wish we'll see some more productions to suit his talent .
