I love Tom! Btw Dee, I was told that people from the UK have perfect American accents because they watch the same shows that we watch in America. Apparently they don’t have as many networks as we do and their film industry is tiny compared to ours. So from childhood they are exposed to how we speak.

The biggest export America has besides weapons is culture and entertainment, it’s a hegemon. A lot of the world is overexposed to American culture and grew up watching your shows and movies hence why we can easily do American accents lol personally I am trash at it (trash at accents in general) but I can give a cute valley girl lol

Yes majority of the entertainment industry is ruled by Americans. So it’s easier to adapt to the accent that you hear often.
