He is friend of Human Torch and Iceman, he teams up with Doctor Strange at times, he and Wolverine even swapped bodies once. Spidey was friend of Iron Man for some time, Iron Man gave him Iron Spider suit, but then Civil War happened and being on Iron Man's side completely ruined Spidey's life... His movie rights are owned by Sony, but every other rights are Marvels - for comics, t-shirts, action figures etc.
