I kinda tell stories in a similar way but whenever I want to tell my friends a story, one of my friends who already knows it will just say the end and ruin it. If nobody knows it then they'll just sigh and be like 'here she goes again' and if they already know it then sometimes they won't let me finish. Kinda hurts and makes me not want to talk at all.
