I love how impassioned Eoin got about Tom's underdeveloped character in Merlin. It just shows how much he cares for Tom, that he is angered by what happened to Tom and is willing to possibly get frowned upon for saying it, and Tom just looks like "Awww. He's getting all mad again". They are both such great actors and great men. I am excited to see their future works and see how they develop more in their careers. Also, Tom is so understated!! He is a great actor, I just feel bad he is often given small, simple roles! Eoin looks great in those shorts too.... Beauties!! (I also downloaded Evora's album and I must say.... Incredible taste in music!)

Tom was so underused in Merlin, yeah the sleeveless arms were nice but you can actually see in other project like Cold and later Black Sails that he has way more range than just being the strong man. Billy Bones his character arc was amazing to witness and he played it fantastically. But then again, I thinks almost all of the knights were critically under used.

I've always loved Percival in Merlin even though Tom had such a small part. Reading fanfiction Percival is always in it :)

When season four hadn't aired yet, I thought there would be an episode centered on Percival.. you know, to get to know his character better. But no.. I still have no idea what kind of person Percival was, except he was loyal to Camelot bc "your enemies are my enemies" and he likes to carry things.:p I totally agree with you, Percival could have been so much more! More lines would have been a start ;) Anyway, I can't wait to see Cold! :)

People, they are professional actors. And are very well aware that they aren't going to play the 'lead' in every project they do. They were not meant to play lead roles in the Merlin series. Perhaps if the series had lasted longer than five seasons, then I would assume the writers would have spent a little more time on the knights. But in the five seasons the show lasted, I thought the writing was superb, everyone in the cast acted brilliantly, and no one should be 'sour grapes' that they didn't get more airtime. Not everyone can be the 'star'. "Merlin" was an inspiring show. A testament to love, loyalty, and honor. And every single one of the actors should be proud for having been a part of it.
