Wow; one of my favorite "Electric Company" songs. Even before watching this again, I could still sing 4 verses from memory. I believe Tom Lehrer contributed 10 songs to the show. Some of them (like this one) he sang himself, while others were sung by one or more of the main cast members.

I like the retro Electric Company over the 2009 version because of 3 main reasons.One,they had Letterman and Spiderman episodes,Two,they had the three and five second word reads even though it was originally five and ten in earlier episodes.Finally 3,I loved the retro shows much better than the later version,only 4 best friends,Special Agent Jack Bowser,Captain Cluck,the 3 gorillas,24 to read a message and just barely escape the trouble spot.I liked that OK,but not the other corny skits.

I have been singing this song for nearly 50 years. Especially the "carefully" part. 😁 Just today, my wife noticed a tree in our woods that had fallen but not all the way, and its caught up in another tree. I told her i would cut it down.
