I am a 61 year old white male conservative, you could never pay me to listen to any rap period. Then on ScrewTube I watched a video of Tom's. I have bought his merch. downloaded a lot of his music and he has opened my eyes to a list of real rap artists. Funny, they are all independents like Tom. His music is truth and in this time of doom and insanity, we need it. I sent him an email before about this spin and I am sure he never read it, but I would love to see his story made into a movie. Shit slaps hard on a system, got a physical copy myself, will leave playing with windows down in like gas station parking lots lol come out n mfs heads nodding like a mf, especially with gangsta rap raised us, which for me best on the album, My Way comes close tho. Which like first on probation at 9 lol had to do a "scared straight" thing at 12 at a prison, was one of my favorite childhood memories lol was a good time, homie got put in a cell with for awhile looked just like Lloyd Banks lol, he did custom designs on shoes for other inmates, told me about the murder he didn't get caught for, he was doing like 20 years lol whole bunch of stuff, had more respect than like other inmates, but when going to leave like 5 inmates were upset I wasn't going to dap them up before I left, wanted me to write to um, feel bad didn't...lol my dad ended up doing 3 years in same prison like 8 years later, was hoping I'd see the homies when would visit him lol idk just takes me way back to my childhood, which 32 now...

Honestly, this is the first album I can remember that there is not a single song thats a "meh, not for me" and a skip. I heard Tom's interview with Lara Trump where he said after Ghost he was burned out and was thinking of making a pop album when Adam told him he'd be down to do another album. In Tom's own words he said the bullshit over Ghost getting cancelled off the radio gave him the "piss and vinegar" to make this album. And it shows. The beats were all disgusting, almost every track was aggressive, every hook was dope AF and this is the best I've heard these 2 rap. Adam responded to my comment earlier today when I said this whole project is an example of iron sharpening iron, which I think is clearly the case. No doubt Adam respects Tom as an artist and vice-versa. They are the hip-hop odd couple that I never realized I needed. After the Brave 1 I wasn't sure if the collab was a one-off to give the fans something unexpected, which there's nothing wrong with. But I feel like i can appreciate the collaboration a lot more knowing the process wasn't driven by numbers but by two boys picking each others brains and making music organically. Shout-out to Simba lol
