This is such a great mental health song to me. I grew up as a Puerto Rican/black female thinking society thought less of me and that I fell into a stereotype of a girl that would get prego and not go any further!. Yikes!!! I refused to fall into that stereotype and went so much further - thank you me!! And thank you, everyone, else Who ignored a stereotype!

That's great. Personally, I believe stereotypes are for people who are too lazy or scared to live their own truth. This country (the U.S.A.) was so much better as a melting pot. I believe if we stop allowing the government and money interests dividing us up and stand together as one great nation where many kinds of people can be free, there is where we have the power of the people.
