What's up y'all! Again, thanks for your thoughts and voice. I commented a few days ago and even got a ❤️. So this comes from that same mentality. In my opinion, some of your Thanksgiving comments were a bit shortsighted. Just in the americas, Indigenous people have suffered almost complete genocide, absolute pain ,suffering and loss of their ancestral lands, due to opression. Oppression of people is what we should be looking at. Racism is a cause, oppression and discrimination are the effect. But that can be based on race, gender, age, etc.. if we keep merely looking at things in black and white, we're never going to truly get it together. In my opinion. Lastly, obviously, one's traditions are absolutely an individual choice and I want everyone to experience and share joy however that comes. But to say let's just over look another's suffering, so we can eat and enjoy may need to be evaluated. Otherwise, why not say let's just over look slavery and lynching because it gets in the way of someone's traditional good time. Just think about it is all I ask. Just my thoughts. Thanks again for sharing and spreading the energy. And we should be thankful and give Thanks everyday that we're still here, diverse and able to have conversations and express thoughts.
