Tom said he tried for 6 years, the whole time he and Nova have been a couple, to write the perfect love song for her. Every one he wrote, he tore up, they weren't good enough. This one was the perfect one for her. The couple at the end are Tom's parents, they've been together over 40 years. Tom is the first independent rapper to get a Billboard #1 in Pop with this song. For some bangers from Tom, I'd suggest I Hate Hip Hop, The Way I Am (Eminem Remix), Hangman, and I Don't Care to start. #HangOverGang

For something from Tom's catalog that hits quite a bit harder than this, I'd suggest _I'm Sorry._ A lot of people would suggest _No Response_ also, but that's the one that really gives reactors the _WTF did I just watch?!_ face after watching something like _Ghost._ It's _too_ much, right after a love song. _Dear Rappers_ is still the song that most fans would recommend starting with, though, since that's the one that blew him up.
