HOG = Hang Over Gang. Tom was an alcoholic for a long time. He and his friends were always drinking - not necessarily even to get drunk, but they associated having the best time of their lives when alcohol was involved. They called themselves "Hang Over Gang" because they were just a bunch of dudes trying to have the best time of their life ALL the time, lol. He had a mental break down stemming from his alcohol and drug abuse - it started towards the end of 2015 and went into 2016. He was still living in Vancouver then but left and went to go live back home with his mom in Edmonton at the beginning of 2016, to recover. He was there for around 9 months before he got a call from Nova asking him to come make music with her. She was living in South Central LA off Crenshaw, and she had just gotten dropped from Def Jam a handful of months before that and was struggling in the aftermath of that. Tom went to LA at the end of 2016 and a year later blew up with Dear Rappers. Even though he did relapse once or twice, he is sober now and has been for at least 6-7 years. Even though he's sober, he's still just a dude trying to have to best time of his life - he's just doing it sober now... so, Hang Over Gang still rang true, and he kept it. HOG is full of people recovering from mental illness and alcohol/drug addictions.

You will find out that Tom is exactly what you are talking about at the end. He has no filter when it comes to his views about the government, the music industry, and above all himself. He tells his own life stories, some are great endings and some aren't. But you always find out what he did to overcome each situation. He drops some kind of knowledge on his tracks and does it like no other. I'll watch every Tom reaction that you do and do will most of the HOG Family. Subbed. Just a suggestion, when you pause mid-verse on Tom, you have to back up a few seconds to not lose out. For example, you missed the line of: I fell the weight like Im carrying around [Paused] a corpse. Everytime you paused that happened. At the very end he said "I just do it for all of my [Paused] Fans. We don't mind that you pause. Just don't miss the verse you pause on.
