Tom said before he got famous he did the same things the other rappers he admired were doing, but after he drank too much a lot and had a break down over it, he decided rapping about drugs and drinking and minimizing women’s value into an object wasn’t were it was at. And he rapped about things that were real for him and he made his name when he did Dear Rappers talking down the things they were glorifying because he lived it and it sucked. Tom does a lot of rap building people up. But haters are going to hate, what can you say.

Tom became an insperation to a ton of ppl. Nova as well inspires a ton of ppl. They were young kids living in a real bad area other devices got involved thats what happens in the ghetto an homelessness. They should have been dead but they actually survived an bettered themselves. They took it a step further an showed others that they too can do it. Your situation may be bad ur life choices can be bad but u can overcome this hurdle. Tom an Nova are an inspiration to all those fighting ppoverty drug an alcohol abuse poverty an living in gang areas. So yea ur welcome to have an idol. Did he rap against police or other things duiring his early years hell YES but that was BEFORE he took action to better his life. Give credit ppl all iam saying. OH also survived mental health issues lets not forget that one. ALL THIS AGAINST HIM an he made it thru.

Regarding "change", or "growth", in "You Missed", Tom reveals two areas of his own revelatory reasons for his changing of mind: 1) "I USED to think that the Woke were misguided, but now I can see they are Evil; and, 2) a few lines later...Tom says that he has discovered that the Left really is as crazy as his Conservative associates have said all along. As well, Tom is very open and clear about his former adherence to the typical hip hop themes -- if anything, Tom is an open timeline of his own growth.

Watch ANY interview that Tom has done since he became famous (And there's a ton) & You will see👇 He literally admits that he started out like everyone else..... rapping about that bullshit he admits he was a drug addict and alcoholic & clearly says it wasnt until he had a mental breakdown from all that shit ... he realized that is not what he wanted his life to be about (He also says having that breakdown made it possible for him to finally become successful.....) I’m impressed with your tolerance level, you watched further into this idiots video than I did 😂 In every interview Tom has ever done he has said in the beginning he rapped like everyone else and all this guys examples are from 2017 or earlier. But living that lifestyle Tom had a breakdown that almost killed him so he didn’t want to continue down that destructive path.
