I think Superman flying through in the background maybe represents that even as dark as the subject was, we should still hold out hope for things to get better, even if we can't see how right now. At least that's how I choose to interpret it.

I’m not a hater .. don’t yell at me lol.. I like some of toms stuff . I really do. But do you wanna know what came to mind as soon as I saw this video begin? Just being honest … whose been “popping “ the most lately ? Who has been seen sitting on a chair with his guitar and recording one take videos with just an acoustic guitar ? All I have ever really heard from Tom is a heavy beat and rapping . It just seems odd to me he chose this type of video to do now , after we all saw Ren blow up doing this .. maybe it’s just me . I really wish Tom had actually been playing the guitar when he recorded this video .
