This is excellent. I'm a real silent film buff. The music is awesome, making the film very exciting. It's fabulous that silent films are growing in popularity. My Mother is 87, and she knows who Tom Mix was, but I think she's perplexed as to why I'm interested in this "old stuff", lol. I've always loved history, in all its forms ❤️.

Also a new discoverer of Tom Mix! Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, laughed lots, and loved the train ride. Riding the Durango and Silverton Railway is at the top of my list of things to do 😊 Thank You so much for sharing!!

@joannecarpenter8725 across the street of the Museum, there is also a motel from the late 1800s. It's really interesting to see historical places.

My grandfather jack hanses was in some of these movies! But unfortunately I think the ones he was in are lost to time

How sad. So many great silents lost due to the nitrate negatives decomposing. Tom's best films are lost to time.

@@richarddouglasjensen that's not why my grandfather's movies with Tom mix are gone they didn't do credits back then. But my grandfather was his side kick. Idk maybe they are degraded

52:58 John Wayne - Cowboy in black shirt
@povertyrowrestorationsАй бұрын
It could be! Wayne was working at Fox Studios during this time. He was rumored to have worked on several Tom Mix films.
@deweymartin67828 күн бұрын
It was also rumored he was his Personal trainer but he arrived on the lot at 19 without any experience but football. His role is currently unknown but many spectate that it was the Cowboy in black shirt.

Great Tom Mix fare. But that music was REALLY REALLY monotonous!
@sodality39704 жыл бұрын
I really couldn't stand the music with this . The same over an over again . Sorry , but it would've been better without that music .

Das ist wundervoll! Tom Mix war weltweit beliebt, weil Stummfilme einfach andere Titelkarten brauchten.

Tom is from a Pa. Western town named " DuBois " ; still quint & nice . The main actress had her eyes on Tom's fancy outfit; she wished that she could steal his duds and wear his fancy, sleek outfit herself !
