I think it's pretty wild to talk about Caleb Williams play and not mention the OL play in front of him a single time..

Well, Skylar Thompson is certainly a capable runner with size and strength to boot. You didn’t see them trying to put in plays for him to be a runner. That’s not part of the offense. Can’t say it’s because he is new. They drafted the left kid in the same draft that Purdy was in. He isn’t new. He has had years of being in the system, and even if they tried putting run plays in for him, the let us a better chance he hesitates mid run and gets tackled in the backfield, because he is so indecisive in everything he does. He will try scrambling out of the pocket, make 3 steps towards that effect, and then decide he is just gonna stand in the pocket he is already halfway out of, and he couldn’t anticipate a throwing window the size of the ocean

To NFL, if you're concerned about making games more exciting, which I assume you are, then do the one time splurge as a league to fix all the turfs, to modernized grass/artificial turf that will reduce injuries by 36%, thus leaving more star and starters , improving quality of play. You're welcome.

Anyone else as bothered with Tom’s earpiece having a knot in it? 😂 Caleb’s offensive line has been pretty bad as well. He needs to get comfortable under center to start the play, not shotgun every play.

Caleb went to USC, JD5 went to LSU. Typically the southern SEC schools best prepare its QB’s for the NFL (LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Georgia)

Jayden was at ASU a pac 12 school for 3 years....Caleb was at OU and SEC school for 1 year before playing 2 at SC a pac 12 school. Literally experience meant nothing except Jayden got an extra year in the pac 12.

Personally i can't get over the fact that Skylar thompson was drafted 15 spots ahead of Purdy - It's going to be what if for me, what if they drafted Purdy instead? Would he win that playoffgame? No clue, but I think the Dolphins could have made it work with Purdy too.

People so quick to judge but dont understand football. Everyone thinks Wash O-line is so good, they are average but they get away with so much because of how much a threat Jayden is on the ground. So pass rushers don’t want to overcommit. Daniels is still a 1 read guy then he takes off or he scrambles until somebody gets open. Caleb is a much more natural passer. When he scrambles, he’s doing it looking to extend the play, quite often to a fault instead of taking the easier throw. Defenses know that he’s not likely to take off like Jayden so they are much more committed to the rush and are willing to take more chances believing even if Caleb escapes he’ll make an ill-advised throw. This is correctable but it will take time. Its more of an ego thing with Caleb, he’s so competitive he wants to make the SportsCenter top 10 plays. In the long run, i see this QB duel to be very comparable to the 2018 draft with Josh Allen and Lamar. Lamar like Jayden is a supreme athlete playing quarterback. Caleb is more traditional, a guy who will go thru all his reads even under pressure with the ability to escape. He has yet to have the light come on where on some of those plays he needs to take off and gain the 6-7 yds on the ground.

Can we either not talk about the Panthers without mentioning the backup QB, or just not talk about them at all? Prayers to those effected within the path of Helene.

We forget Tia and Lawrence openly said there's more to life than football, criticized each for a minute by media. I predicted at least one will excuse out after getting the big pay day. Both might. You can see on a QBs face after a loss how much it means. SMILING joking Lawrence and Tua on the sidelines is seared in the minds of those of us who watched the actual games.
