The only thing I regret about Tom is that I never got to see him live! Especially back in the 70’s!!!! Incredible band!!! What a loss that he isn’t with us any more! Some of the best live crowd interaction in history of Rock n Roll!!!! Especially with Breakdown!!!!

Had the opportunity to see Tom Petty live only once. The audience, thousands of people, singing in tune, in harmony!!! Amazing!!! This song brings me to tears every time but still I come back over and over again. RIP Tom. You are more than a legend. You are a god!!

This song was my first introduction to Tom Petty back in the 70's. He has had so many hits and great songs since then, yet I feel he was/is underappreciated and so very underrated. This live version brings tears to my eyes today.

This song, especially the riffing and spontaneous flight into "Hit the Road, Jack", which folds perfectly back into the major lick of "Breakdown" - is actually just insane.

What a epic live version !! Favorite without a doubt. Makes me forget about all my stress and problems for 5 minutes everytime. Lol. Mr Petty touched so many lives of all races. His and the heartbreakers music will live forever. Listening to him talk on his station on Sirius radio gives me the chills everyday. His spirit reaches me in that way. Peace from texas

I think I better get this live anthology four CD set quickly! What I hear here and on Sirius TP's station channel 31 of it is all amazing. How many great tunes does TP have in him? A true miracle. He's my Beatles these days, man. Proud to say he grew up in a house I go to park at and get the vibes from that's 10 minutes away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a musician, but he's got all ends of music in rock, blues, pop, some country, and pretty acoustic songs covered in every way as writer, singer, you name it...with his Breakers too, of course. I better drive on over to his boyhood home and thank him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
