* It still hasn't quite sunk in yet. I dunno...between the hurricanes, the crazy right to protest/flag division shit, the insanity out in Vegas & Tom Petty leaving the world, I feel like I'm in a different place. A place that I've never been before. It's really weird. Like I said, for some reason I felt like I had a personal connection with Tom Petty, hard to explain. Right now I wish I could somehow talk to Tom Petty & tell him how I feel (is that crazy?). Maybe over a bourbon & a fine cigar. Now I know I can't do that (unless one of you knows a really good spirit medium), so I'll play this song instead & think about some of the times I spent listening to him. peace~RIP...TP "Louisiana rain is falling just like tears Running down my face, washing out the years Louisiana rain is soaking through my shoes I may never be the same when I reach Baton Rouge"

I feel the exact same way(minus the cigar!)When I listen to his music, relax in solitude, enjoy a vodka and club,I feel some connection. So many questions, not enough answers...Need to find a good spirit medium,I would be set!

I remember this 8 track and building our new house after school every day of the week with this album blaring. This tune was always my favorite...though he changed a few lyrics for this version. Badon
