A lot of Tom Petty/TPAH/Mike Campbell videos have come out over the last few years, but this is probably the best interview I heard in a long time.

This podcast has truly been a gift, these kinds of interviews would never be available if not for your years of work and your openness to actually release all of this. These interviews are like time travel, podcasts with these people at these critical moments in their career is literally impossible, yet you have somehow made the impossible a reality. Thank you

Good to see you Jas! Thanks as always for posting these interviews from a magazine that was a very important part of me learning to play guitar and dreaming of being a rock star back in the day.

Glad you stood your ground with the publicist. 😊 Didn't sound like Tom cared too much for the publicist..... especially when he said that you could ask him anything that you wanted. And I did enjoy your interview....thanks.

Great interview! Tom seemed reluctant at first to be interviewed but he warmed up as it went along. His speaking voice sounds identical to Bob Dylan`s speaking voice!

Great interview. It seemed like just 2 guys hanging out talking about guitars and song writing. Tom was very relaxed. 😊

This was great! I think The Edge gets a pass on the rule that any good song should be good with just a piano or acoustic, but anyone else, good rule.

Tom’s “problem with authority” was probably more of a problem with oppression, which is different, but yeah, most “authorities” these days are unjust, power-trippin’ oppressors. When you’re coming from the right place, you naturally resist that. Thanks for sharing.

In Florida. Friday 5/31/2014…what a great two days,,a convicted Trump on Thursday and this interview came up in my algorithm this😂 morning. Good deal. I don’t need to read more about Trump because I know his lack of character as an asshole crook. And, as Tom Petty said, one time, “son, don’t shave your legs and don’t vote Republican .” So this is delightful. Thank you so so much. This just made my morning completely. Be safe, vote. 💙💙💙

Nobody said it better than Tom Petty in his song Power Drunk “Pin on a badge and a man begins to change Start believing and there's nothing out of his range You and I are left in the wind In the wake of a rich man's sin Now he's power drunk Yeah, I look at his eyes Gotta sober up It's the truth within that makes a good man arise” ~Tom Petty
