As a person who's been having multiple health problems the last few years, this little video made me feel much better because I feel the same as Tom does at this point of my life. I've always believed that Tom is one of the most underrated actors of our time, but I didn't know he was quite the story teller. This is what people need at these times and I hope we'll get more of that. God bless you Tom and greetings from Greece.

Tom, you are a true artist. A talented man and just a Nice Guy. I've gone out to see you perform your stand-up. I've bought your album, your DVD, your book. I've seen your movies, loved your TV shows. I've appreciated your paintings. I've watched every one of these videos. I even made and sent you a postcard (WIFE). We've all watched you play your life out in public, shared your wife and son with us, share your travels, your insecurities, share, share, share, when most people in the public eye recoil from that public. You're loved and appreciated right back. Do whatever it is that makes you happy.

Tom! I have no words! To leave me speechless is a great accomplishment! I see your reasoning for all you stated. I have more , or less, done the same thing...except I'm not famous! It's not worth it! Enjoy life for once. Enjoy your grandkids and beautiful family! You have earned it. Throw yourself into your art and sell it! You are an amazing artist, poet, music maker, dancer, philosopher, teacher, (I loved the story about the hides) etc...etc..I could keep going! Make those flames burn big and bright, Tom! And please...never stop being an adventurer. You have a following that loves you and your family. You are one of the last "good guys". It kinda gives us hope. That surfboard says it all. (BTW...thanks for the shout out! It makes me proud!)

The very last thing I expected today was to get to see a new video from you, but it came at absolutely the perfect time, it’s been a rough few weeks. I don’t have any thought provoking questions for you, but thank you for making us smile all these years. I’ve been a huge fan since I was 12 and was hoping to get the opportunity to meet you one day. However, if it never happens, I understand why. Thanks for being awesome and brightening my day! 😊

I've always been a huge Back to the future fan, but finding you on KZbin has changed my perception a little. Not just seeing you as a character but as a down to earth regular human. Seeing the music, comedy, and the art. Seeing you try to make the world a little better where you can. It's more than a lot of people, probably more than I have done to make it better. Merry Christmas stay safe and healthy sir.

I still hope to see you perform comedy live someday after all this is over, if you ever come to Toronto. Cheers.

It's really great to see Tom Wilson the Human and not that guy that says words for money! Speaking of which, I once had a dog called Biff, well he got bitten by a snake, run over by a semi truck trailer (he slipped his collar chasing it) and got electricuted on a railway line. He survived all of these, like that name gave him some superpowers!

Made my day to see a new Tom Wilson video after so long! I loved the stream-of-consciousness format. Although I'm still in the middle-age years of my life, I can relate to the whole quitting thing, as I've jumped from one field to another a few times already. (First Military Intelligence, then Nursing, teaching English overseas, a short stint as a janitor, and now Preschool Teacher.) I've found there's something freeing about being able to re-make your occupational identity--being secure enough in your basic beliefs and in who you are that it doesn't have to cause a major crisis to switch to something new. I know the pandemic is a bummer for a lot of people. The Richard Dana story is a wonderful example of someone who works to bring hope to others out of his own adversity. Question: What do you think it is within a person that brings out the treasures of selfless service--that a person can experience adversity but choose to serve others rather than to wallow in self-pity or to hunch down behind the bastions against what he/she believes to be a hostile world? I guess the reason I ask this question is I see so much negativity coming out of the pandemic, especially in online and social media circles. So much distrust of core institutions and of other human beings, so much assuming the worst about others, so much tribalism. I'm a generally agreeable person who likes to see the best in people, and likes to assume the best about others, but it can be hard to maintain this attitude after just seeing how splintered our society is at this moment. I've been talking to my own preschool students about hope during this Advent season--for those of us who are Catholics (or Christians of any denomination) our hope truly is in Jesus, but even still hope can be hard to maintain in the long run when things look as bad as they do. God bless you, sir.

Hey Tom, I'm late to the Afterparty, but showed up nonetheless. Thanks for all the sharing of your adventures over the years. Last week, episode 12 popped up on my phone. I thought it was a random share and then found that you are posting them all. I was ready to buy the audio book. I have your book on Kindle and have read some and then listened to the audio. It was like going from one watt to a thousand!!! Your voice made it come alive. OK. Comment on something you may not get too many hits. My wife and I are Glenn Frey, Eagles fans and after he passed away (God rest his soul) we found out he was in one movie. We found a bootleg DVD copy and BAM, there you are!!! Let's Get Harry had a lot of great actors and I can't understand why it didn't do well. We think you did a great job in this film and I guess this is where your relationship with Gary Busey led you guys to be lifelong buddies. We wish you the best during your transition. Sit back and watch what doors God will open up for you. Praying for you and your family.... 🙏🙏🙏 PS.... Beads and wires are coming together...

Tom, While I love your videos of stand up, enjoy what I’ve seen you do in film, what gets me the most is that while being you, in all the ways I’ve been able to see….we are different, yet I feel seen through you being you. I got the opportunity to be a post card pal during 2020 (that infamous year), and it meant something to reach out as a person to a person, which you helped me remember all actors are. Take care and God Bless!

I can understand that road! I for one, appreciate all your work over the years. You are an incredibly funny person with a wonderful sense of humour! You played the antithesis of who you truly are when you played Biff in Back to the Future. That must have really pushed you out of your comfort zone. I know that would have pushed me out of my comfort zone if I played a part like that! May the peace of Christ surround you and your family during this time and may his guidance be with you today and always down this road. Thank you again, Mr. WIlson! I'm not sure how many of these comments make it to you, but your videos have really touched me. Your gift of storytelling comes out in your film essays, your writing, and your art. Don't give up hope; you have new chapters ahead in documentary filmmaking, voice-over, and painting, all three of which can be done on your terms (ie. not affected by the pandemic) and can hopefully be combined to sustain the kind of living you were earning before. Whatever happens, I look forward to what you do next.

Hey Tom, I’m one of your post card buddies but my channel name was Bama quest then, I changed it because .. well, change comes to us all. I just turned 50 and I’m at the same “what now” type of place so I get where you’re coming from, especially with the industry. Now I’m not anything more than a lowly background actor but protocol changes the last couple of years has made me have to step back from being on set because I can’t afford to drive to Atlanta just for a nose swab. It’s totally fine to be where you are but I don’t think you’re going down in flames. You have touched people’s lives by sharing your art, no matter the way it was delivered whether it be through acting, stand up, music or painting. We appreciate you. We thank you for sharing your talents with us and for giving us peeks into your life and your heart. We love your videos and we will continue to be here when you post one.
