Brand is mama noodles. They are popular in Thailand for people who are skint as they cost the equivalent of 2pence a packet.

Flavour of the packet is actually "Tom Saeb" this is basically a spicy Thai soup which has salty, spicy and sour elements. (My girlfriend is Thai). Oh and they usually eat it with a boiled or poached egg or something. There are many ways of cooking this but you cooked it more or less the standard way.

What did they smell like? Apparently you are supposed to add diced pork and mixed vegetables and its a Thai soup.

The smell would probably of been fish sauce it’s used to all Thai food. smells like shite but gives stuff a nice taste lol
