REALLY impressed with your dedication on doing a good job on this . The details combining practical effects and functional props is amazing. I could not think of anyone better equipped to handle any "emergencies" and repairs needed. 11 hours, few would be fit / mentally strong enough to handle this: awesome!

I saw you yesterday and I have to say it was a really unique experience. My company left after 4h but I stayed the whole mission and became victim of your champagne shower, haha. I didn't expect to like and feel being part of the performance as much as I did, but now I know better. If you let it happen, it becomes quite real in your head and also in your heart. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the mission

Sorry for the shower :) same here, it will take me a while to unpack all the experiences I had last week. It was wonderful!

The mantra from 47:30 is from the 1984 movie Dune by David Lynch. "It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion." It is not in the books by Frank Herbert.

There is a coffee variant that I regularly chant when getting one. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

Oh, so there was a live demonstration, I wondered if there was one for the finish of the exhibition. Very cool. I was there two weeks ago, and it was amazing!

Pity to see it go. I wish I could take part in it at some point. A nerd's wet dream indeed, a thing of beauty and a joy for ever. And those horn speakers are an audiophile's wet dream, though they're no lookers :D Seeing a cabinet fully stocked with Jack Daniels makes me wanna go for a drink with Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson. Samantha and Teal'c too!

Fine experience, perhaps they'll recognize your genius and make space for a workshop on space station ? and have you s as a guest troubleshooter/teacher.Look a "ladder" in space...every planet should have one. (and opportunity to pickup or contract out for space derbis for special projects... esp for your house? A Jetsons style( older cartoon here) Thanks for sharing your experience there !

Great video Laura. You need to invest in a throat-microphone. Aviators wore them in WWII before noise canceling circuitry were developed. I have found them useful in high noise, windy areas or when wearing a mask and safety gear. Just a thought for your future recording sessions. Wishing you and your family a blessed week and a gentle spring season. Peace Laura
