While it’s true that it is probable that some form of life exists somewhere in the universe, it is also true that the probability of us ever encountering said lifeform are incredibly incredibly low. The science has been extremely clear on this for a while, yet people still continually fall into this trap and hear what they want to hear about aliens. Additionally, you still run into the problem that we like to selectively ignore in this case where we have zero actual evidence to even support the idea that life actually exists beyond earth. Using ideas like “statistical improbability” to try to “prove” it is an incredibly faulty idea that is not accepted in any other area of scientific research as it is based off of assumptions that are unproven and unknown. Additionally, anything is statistically impossible if enough factors are added into the equation. This misinterpretation of science logic is getting extremely old. It’s not science, it’s not logic, it’s just reframed rhetoric.

They would have to be advanced beyond our comprehension, and with that being the case it's hard for me to believe they are crashing ships and getting sighted so frequently. People who say this argument about the vastness of the universe are really understating how insane it would be to travel as far as they could. I understand that maybe we don't comprehend physics and technology the way they would, but using our understanding the idea of life visiting here (the way its been described) is impossible.

As a person who has had a close encounter I will say it was impossible to get the phone because of the shock but it also felt as though they could understand my thoughts. It's the hardest thing I've ever tried to explain. I can explain what I saw perfectly but it was almost as if time froze and everything seemed to slow down and it was like it was trying to communicate through the mind and then in a split second it shot across the sky and was gone in a split second without making a sound which should be impossible since they broke the sound barrier. Also this took place about 2 miles away from the Salem Nuclear Plant in Delaware. Craziest thing I've ever seen or been through.

Agreed man. I never got why people laughed it off. Evidence aside, chemistry that allowed to be alive in the first place has to be consistent across the universe. If you're the right distance from the sun, can form H2O, enough time goes by..you will eventually have intelligent life. I don't think there's life on other planets within our solar system, but there's billions of solar systems out there. There are likely civilizations more advanced and others that aren't. I doubt we're on either extreme. Even the fact that us as humans are so different than any other life form makes me think there was alien interference at some point in our biological progression. I'm not a far right wing conspiracy theorist either..I'm just thinking logically.
