Thank you for the like on my 250 GTO comment. My first exposure to the GTO’s was in 1964. One of my father’s good friends had purchased one and he took me along up to the dells area of Wisconsin. My greatest memory of that day was having the side window down and listening to the symphonic melody of the exhaust notes. That magnificent 12 cylinder engine with those six deuces sucking air and the melodious sound of the exhaust bouncing off of the rock walls on either side of the car still raises goosebumps the size of golf balls on my arms every time I relive that memory. I was 16 at the time and that created a hooked for life Ferrari maniac! As for my comment about God owning a 250 GTO, I call them like I see them. :) :) :)

Few cars have been done correctly, the Ferrari 250 GTO and Dino are two examples that were! Both are gorgeous, charming and classic, to think, the 250 GTO was created in 1962 and the Dino a few years later, and today they are still magnificent. Yours, was a very well presented history lesson on this particular example! Thank you

Sneaky Italians! That is what Mr. Ferrari gets for calling the The Deuce (Henry Ford Jr) and his representatives: "sons of whores"! Now, that was an insult heard around the world! By the way; Ford did it again 50 years later with the new Ford GT for a total of 19 wins, Ford was disqualified in 2019 after a victory for over size fuel tanks. Remember, this was done with a six cylinder truck engine! Ferrari has to be sweating bullets right about now because the Corvette C8 is on the loose!

I used to see 6 GTO (#3527) a lot in the 1990s. A friend of mine used to race a 308GTB at the time. I was fortunate to have met Steve Pilkington at Donington Park in July 1991. He owned #3527 at the time. Steve took me round Donington in the car. He said that if I went to Oulton Park the following week, he would take me round there as well. How could I refuse?
