Basically, tom heard the television on so he want out to the balcony and he heard Danny and Dougie watching the notebook (girly/romantic film) men would not normally watch it and especially not with another guy friend. Danny was saying he was nearly crying and in the film the man builds a house for the women and Danny wants a house like it, so Dougie and himself can live there together. Then in the morning he finds them in bed with each other and he asks them what there doing and danny says
