I love Tom Vek. I listened to this album (in vinyl) with my eyes closed. And, after 2 plays, I don't like it that much (expect one or two tracks). But he certainly seems to have gained a sort of confidence in his style, approach to music I find a bit too ...rough? I died listening to the two previous albums but this one I don't get. Am I the only one or should I listen to it once more?

Listen to it again, get used to the style. He's an indie artist which means he makes music that he likes, and he's going to keep doing that even if people doubt him, so either you change the way you hear it- or just don't listen.

if ur from the states, u have to listen to music from diff countries to appreciate off rhythms.. because here in the states we are used to very basic rhythms.. if u want to dive face first into odd rhythm then go listen to dizzee rascal's "boy in da corner" or mike skinner's "original pirate material" .. if you listen enough to let it sink in you will never be confined to have to hear a song "the american way" again
