In this episode, we take a short excursion to Tom Vuong's house in Anaheim California. Tom is an avid collector of large yamadori material. It amazing during these trying times our members are willing to share their bonsai garden for the club to view. Beautiful trees. I think in your more recent videos you have stopped putting the music in the background, but just in case, it is a distraction. Since Tom is not mic'd it also makes it hard to hear him. Otherwise great video.

I seen him collect couple times now. I'm about 2/3 his age and makes me look like a wimp the speed Tom collects.

@@BaikoenBonsai I consider myself strong, lifting heavy weights consistently and the size of those trees scare me. Even if there's a lift, maneuvering to keep the tree safe seems like a work of art.

Yes, correct. If you go back and look at some of his olives. The taper is perfect as there is constant transition during root formation. There are several species of using this upside down method to achieve the same results. Thank you for the comment and sub

I live in Greece and I would like to do the same. Is there a special process to get roots on the trunk since all the the roots are out of the pots ? You speak of other species. Which ones ? @@mudvein830 they all pretty much do the same thing. Check your local water company if they have rebates for wifi controllers. some rebates are as large as $80. I've been using Rachio for 10+ years now and love it!

Your videos would be much better if you ditched the background music. Run a poll to see how many people like it... Very few I'd imagine. It's so loud I really struggle to hear what you're all saying. It adds nothing.
