One thing is for sure, He cares deeply about you, enough to inquire of you. Are you willing to live this life He has called you to even if he doesn’t heal you? Perhaps He wants to heal you or Maybe He is asking you to rely on His strength to endure a while longer? You can thank Him for allowing you to participate in the fellowship of His suffering. Lord, I lift your daughter Valerie up to you tonight and I ask for your healing touch upon her body, mind, and spirit. Give her everything she needs to live this life you’ve called her too. The mighty name of your son Jesus Christ amen.

Up untill that moment, I had been quite unhappy with my life. But I humbly took the opportunity to really decide if I want to live it anyway. I’ve been grateful for that experience ever since. Prayer Focus: 🙏God I ask You in Jesus' name open the eyes and hearts of all Your children and let them see what Your will is for this pandemic. God deal with the heart, character, and attitude of President Trump, every Governor, Senator, and Mayor (who call themselves a Christian and those who are not Christian). God don’t let their attitudes reflect sarcasm, disrespect, deception, racism, anger, bullying, and or ugliness. God You deal with each of them privately and publicly if necessary when they are wrong. Bless each of them with the desire and strength to walk in the character of Christ Jesus. May they all accept Your guidance and leadership. I pray that they all will trust in You with all their hearts, lean not to their own understanding, but acknowledge You first in all their ways and allow You to direct their thoughts, footsteps, actions, and the words that they each one of them speaks. May each of them come to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all their heart, mind, soul and strength, and live their lives to please You. Don’t let any of them ever place money or position over the lives and the welfare of the people they represent. Don’t let them walk in the spirit of entitlement. Because the only thing we all deserve is death and the grave if it had not been for Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You Jesus for the gift of salvation. God all I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for every Christian Leader, the writer of this prayer, and myself. Thank You Jesus. Amen!

DON GEE God may not come when you think He should, but He is always right on time. God is not like a vending machine, you put a prayer in and expect something soon or right away. Sometimes what you want may not be what you need. Ask God for understanding and to send someone to you with a word or message you need to hear. Also, if you are harboring resentment or hatred toward another human, God wants you to learn to forgive. When you can forgive, and when you include in your prayers thanks for what God does in your life, you will find peace and the answer.
@dongee63514 жыл бұрын
@@florastewart7957 is that the same 'forgive' that we see when God slaughters countless thousands,wipes out mankind and condones slavery, it's all there in the Bible or do you not read those parts? Can you see why there are other views? No offense meant, it's just as I see it.
@florastewart79574 жыл бұрын
DON GEE If you believe that, why were you praying? Yes he did kill people on the earth during the great flood, because they were sacrificing children by placing them in fires, raping anyone, and were psychopathically evil and did not have remorse. It was their choice to be evil. I also used to think that God was a bully and killed people out of pettiness until I met truly twisted, evil people who liked to do things for kicks. They loved to set people up for a fight, they loved the destruction they caused. They laughed when they caused people pain. I quickly moved out of the building I was living in to get away from them. Then, I had experienced medical miracles in my life that doctors could not attribute to medicine. Some actually called them miracles. I came to realize that this is a God who does care about suffering, but most suffering is man made. Others, like cancer, keep us hoping for a cure, but even closer to God. When you have cancer or any other life threatening disease, most people will turn away because they don’t know what to say or do. I know that in my life, and many other Christians, faith has brought me joy and peace, and a new appreciation for life. I am not a theologian, or profess to be a bible expert. But I do know that when I had a prosperous life filled with prestige and celebrities, I was miserable. When I was helping people and listening to the message of God on the radio, I felt a change for the better, a real connectedness to others. I know that God exists, that all the safeguards so that earth is flourishing with life in a barren Galaxy tells me that there is a Divine force. There is too much evidence that the circular systems from the smallest atom to the tectonic plates was more than a series of improbable coincidence.

Why would this have any effect on you being a Christian?!?!? I don't understand....Can you not love Jesus anymore? Can you not treat others as you would be treated? This is a ridiculous argument. Being a Christian has nothing to do with whether or not there is a new virus making it's way around the world. I can't believe people think this makes a difference, as to whether you are, or are not, a Christian. Going to services doesn't make you a Christian. Hanging out with other Christians doesn't make you a Christian and if you subscribe to either of the previous two statements, I dare say you are NOT a real Christian.

Lamenting that you can't lament? Revd Prof. Wright, had only believed your Bible more in the good times (James 5:14-18) you'd be a more practical help now. Jesus had compassion on them and healed their sick... what about you? Who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the Devil... as should his ministers. Jesus says: I will, be thou made whole. How long must I be with you? How long must I suffer you? Bring them unto Me! Professional pastoral sympathy about supposedly inevitable tragedy is unchristian fatalism. Are you enbalmed in unbelief, a dead, unrepentant cleric? You say you have the resurrection life of God in you! Did you watch the charismatic movement, Harper et al. and the Fountain Trust, and the Wimber healing movement, just for retreat to powerless words? Anointing the sick and praying the prayer of faith for healing is a part of Anglian liturgy (see 'Healing and Wholeness'). Hearing confession, Mass and anointing the sick for healing is a sacrament of the Roman Catholic Church which time and disobedience have not succeeded in erasing. There is no distance in the Spirit (I Cor 5, the physically absent Paul's presence by the Spirit). Please exercise the duty of the elders of the Church of Jesus in exorcism, healing faith and action. Do it remotely if necessary. James teaches that it's your duty as an elder of Jesus' Church. You have the power, man.

This video is not what I hoped it would be, the issues which needed addressing were avoided. Coronavirus has caused me to question my Christian beliefs and the truth of the Bible. MILLIONS have suffered over the whole world. All generations have suffered, loss of education, loneliness, mental problems leading to dementia, collapsing industries, unemployment, poverty, cancelled hospital operations, cannot even visit those dying in hospital, attend funerals, and a host of other things, not to mention those who have suffered and died. God grieves with us. Why would He want to do that when He could stop the virus? Where is the God who answers prayers from those who earnestly seek? How many millions must have earnestly sought? Where is the just God who has allowed millions to suffer as the result of, possibly, just a handful of people who let this virus out? Satan, we are told, is the ruler of the world, but God is ultimately in command. Where is He?

@jamesnyawira93914 жыл бұрын
+ Justin Welby has been frequent visitor to Kenya and perhaps the jiggers issue is not top in priority. There are foundations working among people affected by them. Why do you think it is such an important thing anyway?
@danieljones20484 жыл бұрын
Irene, in five years, has it occurred to you that perhaps the Archbishop of Canterbury and the whole Church of England can use his time wisely to handle more serious world-wide issues, (e.g., COVID-19, economic issues, poverty issues, violence, ethical issues, etc.), than stop and help you with jigger victims in Kenya? There are other foundations helping among the infected. Further, the Kenya government is over 45 years old since independence. Wouldn't you think they would have put together some efforts to take care of this scourge? Also, there is now in Kenya devolvement, which means funds have been decentralized. Is your Governor, or MP or administration official doing anything to curb the issue? It may be best to use the resources that are near before you continue writing to the Archbishop for help...unless of course the funds are being sought to help prop up an NGO!
