He is a human wrecking ball and a fantastic player and has come on leaps and bounds considering that he used to be a centre!!!

Thank you for making this! Love this guy - his lineouts may not be the best, but he excels in every other area of the game. I was there for that break versus Gloucester, the crowd were on their feet!

No problem mate. True, I still managed to find some good throws aha. Yeah, I was falling asleep when watching that game and his break certainty woke me up!

Mothertrucker Jones Could you do a Dan Cole tribute please? The most prominent mainstay in a very competitive England pack and the best prop at the breakdown bar none. Probably England's most underappreciated player.

thatissmashing Someone doesn't watch any club rugby - or the six nations for that matter.

Toby Baker This was written before his two great games in the 6 nation and , however he's still wank compared to Danny Care who on numerous occasions has proven himself got England out of the slow ball played by Youngs'. Also Tom is only here because Lancaster is being a stubborn mule and not picking Steffon Armitadge and it doesn't help our chances for world cup.
@tobybaker39909 жыл бұрын
thatissmashing Ummm, not really, Care was one of, if not the whole reason we lost to the Boks back in November. Also, if we should drop anyone for Armitage then it should be Haskell.

I still think he’s better than either Hartley or George, don’t know why Jones has abandoned him completely.
@tollyt74655 жыл бұрын
Eric Tan-W He is a good premiership hooker and has been a fantastic player/captain for Leicester, but his line out throwing is at best average and George is a far better tackler, scrummager and breakdown player, and as good in loose play... I agree Hartley is past it, even though he's one of the best scrummaging and line-out hookers in international rugby, he adds little in the loose. Eddie Jones should be looking at Luke Cowan-Dickie for the future with George.. He's a huge hooker and extremely mobile.. Plus his line out is great.. Then there's Harry Thacker who's been in a different class to anyone except George and Cowan Dickie since his move to Bristol.. He's more mobile than any other England qualified hooker, and has played successfully in the back row.. I played at a very good level as a Hooker for nigh on twenty years and Cowan- Dickie is the best English Hooker I've seen for at least 10 years.. As an aside, Tom Youngs wife has been seriously ill too, so wouldn't have been available to travel even if selected. That's why his brother Ben didn't go on the Lions tour to NZ last year, so he could be around to support his brother and sister in law.

dylan hartley is nowhere near as good as tom youngs!
@MNightTomalan10 жыл бұрын
Dylan Hartley hit 96.3% of his lineouts, the best in the 6N. Youngs can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo and is also a weaker scrummager than Hartley. Youngs (and Vunipola for that matter) need to get their basic set piece right before their carrying in the loose is to hold any merit.
@MTJRugby10 жыл бұрын
MNightTomalan a bit harsh on Youngs but I do agree that Hartley is better
@TheMohammedFrank12310 жыл бұрын
Hartley gives away penalties, and is generally a nasty piece of work. Not someone I want to see wearing at England shirt. However I do agree that Tom Youngs' throwing in lets him down. In the loose he is far superior to Hartley. In terms of scrummaging I don't think you have any evidence to back up your point. Look at Leicester Tigers. Have you ever seen their scrummage struggle? No because it always dominates.
@MNightTomalan10 жыл бұрын
Francis Tufail Smith But does Leicester's scrum go well because of Youngs or because of the world class props Ayerza and Cole? Hartley hasn't had an incident since the AP final and has had one bad game (Wales) out of the last 8 dating back to the AIs. And even then he was targeted, I mean Faletau can jump into an already committed tackler and still get the penalty? That's just stupid. Youngs is class, his lions tour showed that. But until he learns to throw into a lineout that isn't being run by Geoff Parling, he shouldn't be anywhere near the EPS setup.
@MyMusicsLikeADrug10 жыл бұрын
MNightTomalan But equally Hartley was throwing predominantly to Lawes who was running the lineout during the 6N. Furthermore, Parling has been out for most of the season and Youngs has thrown to 4 different lineout callers (Slater, Deacon, De Chaves and Kitchener) throughout the season, not to mention a handful more jumpers and last time I checked (granted a couple weeks back now) Youngs was second most accurate in the league for the season and Hartley was 5th most accurate.
