Yellow man is one of my favourite artists, the man himself as many have said is humble, interesting & brave with everything he's battled especially the cancer & the effects to his face but he didn't & hasn't let this stop him, which is where I now get my inspiration from as I now battle my 3rd time with cancer after being in remission for over 20 years, the last few days have been really rough on me from the side effects of chemo but when I listen to yellow man & other reggae artists it helps lift my spirits/mood, keep this great music coming 🎤🎧🎛️📻📼💽🎤. They say laughter's the best medicine but for me it's my love of this music 👌👌👌

Yellow had some raunchy lyrics, but he was a quiet and humble man.Had the pleasure of meeting him around 1983 when I was in the USAF and he did a show in St.Louis.Invited me and my friends back stage and chopped it up with us.He didn't drink or smoke. He ate fruits and offered us some.So glad to have that memory of a true superstar.

Yeah Yellowman lived a correct life despite his lyrics. Funnily or sadly some of the people he collaborated with extensively like Fathead died young because they got into the drug trade.
