Another great video. Nothing better than being on calm water that's like glass, especially salt water! Congrats on the fish. I am sure most people would have gone home empty handed. You know how to get em!

The tomales bar crossing is gnarly I’ve seen some of the commercial boys do it but it ain’t easy good way to have a bad day

Try the alameda rock wall it’s free launching and the fishing there is good just catch some smelt during high tide and drift with the smelt a quarter mile from the wall

Somehow your video popped up just as I was thinking about using smelt for bait for Halis and Lings, perfect timing and good to see that smelt get it done for Halis as well. Nice video!

Thanks TLA! They stopped dyeing once I removed the dead ones, I am sure it wasnt the fresh water that kept the rest alive.

The last two times I've been out there I was seeing the same ghosts too. Rods would get bumped, I'd think I'd have a good take down, and when I'd start reeling, there would be nothing on the other end.
