Tactical thoughts Tom, try using the offside trap. Additionally, check that your back four are set to pressing 'team' in the drop down menu in the tactics. Lovin' ya work!

Need to make your team more narrow, as I don't think width works in champman 01/02. Have your fulls back lines go diagonally towards the CDM. Also, play attacking, short passing, tackling hard, offside trap on. Also, play with either one up front, or three

Stick with Novak and McCartan, I've just finished my first season and they've banged in 35 and 15 goals. Shay would have got more but he was injured for a couple of months. Look to Scotland for a few signings, I've git Richard Tait from Motherwell and Glen Kamara from Rangers. By far my best signing so far has been Bradley Johnson from Blackburn but he did cost £550k (paid for by the sale of A O'C to Stoke for £700k!) finished top of the league with 100 points, scoring 109 goals and conceding 61. Also won the EFL micky mouse leasing/vans cup. so a cracking season.
