In the last possessions: - Follow on Tatum's missed layup. - Forced Saric's TO - Assist to Tatum - Gets to the FT line - Recovers from halfcourt and gets the steal BEAST.

He is confident in his shoot. That leads him to score in some hot moments, even though his percentages are low, but has the personality enough to take the shot when no one wants to. Same in some possessions when the team's offense is not so inspired.

He barely even bothered him. Player of Embiids size and strength should have finished it easily. It was too weak of a contact to be called a foul at such crucial part of the game, Embiid just choked.

Brad was grinning after Rozier stripped the ball. Hard to keep composure when your players are doing everything... and correctly.
@jensen39243 жыл бұрын
@Shay Cormac would you care to elaborate on that?
@jensen39243 жыл бұрын
@Shay Cormac id say it's a little unfair to predicate success with finals trophies. we fell short to unprecedented events. gordon broke his leg. kyrie is a darn good basketball player who, unfortunately also has a side case of his own issues. covid happened. brad was class for us from the start. refused to tank, worked with what he had and prided on defense. a failure would be, for example, nate bjorkgren, who is walking out of the pacers' front office as we speak. too bad this "failure" is running the celtics' basketball ops now huh? 😂

Oh don't get it twisted man. Embiid acted immature this series but he definitely backed it up today. Baynes and Horford had so much trouble stopping him late.
@MRGilD06 жыл бұрын
Embiid was hooking them in a couple of his postups late this game, so it evens out imo. They let the players play in the 4th.
@tyalaman6 жыл бұрын
I'm a C's fan and I might be in the minority but I love Embiid's trash talk. He keeps it clean and in between the lines. A big guy with a big personality is great for the league and he's entertaining/ terrifying whether you root for or against him. Outside of Boston matchups I want him to be successful cuz so much of sports is scrubbed clean and sterile with no one willing to stick their neck out. I just hope that it's a Russell/Chamberlain thing with the sixers always falling just short to the Celtics (except that one year).

2:37 is Smart in 2 plays. Gets matched up against a guy 6 inches taller than him and forces the turnover, then threads the needle for the game-winning layup. Prior to that play he crashed the glass and made a great putback to tie the game. We need him healthy soon! and he runs across the width of the court to get the game-winning interception.
