Thanks from Queensland, i learnt so much from you about tomatoes. I mainly stick to cherry tomatoes in summer due to them supposedly coping with the heat and fruitflies easier. I had no idea differences in leaves between varieties. 👏😀

Thanks Noelene! Glad it was helpful. Fruit fries are so painful to deal with, they have only just moved into Melbourne and I find fruit net bags works well to keep them out if you planned to grow beefstake. Otherwise sounds like cherry varieties are the way to go - heaps of varieties to choose from 😁💚

Hi, Yes i am a bit crazy of planning ahead of 1 year for my next summer garden, but i was wondering what heirloom tomato you would recommend that is pretty reliable, fun, and yellow or orange. This year was a DISASTER! Late blight hit immediately in sydney's rains.

I love your enthusiasm, always good to plan ahead. A reliable orange or yellow tomato is Jaune Flamme and I love Yellow pear and Indigo pear! All highly prolific and relatively more disease resistant 💚
