Honestly I find it really grating to pause in the middle of a gaming video to talk about that shit. It's weird and parasocial and not what I come to speedrunning analysis videos for. My feelings and mental health are no KZbinr's business. After the first half of the video was intercut with an ad, an unfunny sketch and a Patreon plug it made me uninterested in watching the rest of it. Shame because the actual speedrun-related content is interesting and well-presented.

To be acknowledged and believed in by my friends, pets, family and people from instances like these, help to carry on. I have a hard time seeing self worth in myself, but I know it's there. Thank you for the mental health check Anus, these little snippets got me through so many dark times during the pandemic years. Now I am finally seeing myself blossom, started school again, made friends, and am going to finish my degree in computer science. The future looks brighter finally, but gosh did I have to fight for this for so long. And those dark thoughts creep up still from time to time, but I know each day seems to get a little better (finally).

I discovered you through the Fallout Anthology speedrun you did back in 2020, and I am so happy to see your vids are even funnier than your raw quips and live commentary were back then. Love the editing and the script writing (unironically) seriously boosts the delivery of your humor. Will now binge all ur vids thnx

That message at around 11minutes made me pretty emotional. Been in a tough spot recently. Appreciate that. Thats how you earn a sub/like!

Thank you for the encouraging words you insert into your videos. They make a difference

This is the first video of yours I've watched. I don't really watch speedrunning videos and I'm not a particularly big fan of alien or horror games in general. I was mindlessly dead scrolling as an excuse to stay awake since much as I don't like admitting it I don't like being alone with my thoughts. 10 minutes in and I was in shock over the kind words you gave. At first I was like "oh this is gonna be a lead up to a joke huh" but you kept going and were so genuine about it I sat there for 2 minutes jaw dropped. I don't think I've ever subbed to anyone so quickly and immediately before. There are people I've watched for years and I still haven't subbed but after that for you there was no hesitation in my mind. If anything it feels so lacking just only being able to give a sub. But I hope from the bottom of my heart you know and understand how much that tiny segment meant to me. Thank you so much

The only speed running strat I can nail in this game on a regular basis is getting murked by Steve.

I love how you take time for mental health. I know nobody who does that every single time and I really appreciate you for that

Tomatoanus is so good at documenting these runs, I feel like it would be the most amazing to have him document that 24+hour final fantasy 8 (I think) marathon that happened a few years back. It was hilarious and awesome and filled with all kinds of craziness.

24:34 "Also this spaceship is big enough to have a tram in it, what the f?" -- This is where I died watching this. 🤣

Around 11 mins in…when you asked how we are…I don’t think you realised how much I needed to hear that. That was such an unexpected part of the video (first video of yours I’ve watched). Thank you

I remember seeing this run at a GDQ a couple years ago. The runner was so sweet and fun, and even got the double pin. What a wild SR, and shoutout to the mad lads who run it!
