26 minutes in and I feel axectly the the same. Getting them magnums for the first time felt incredible and every enemy now had to be killed be them ( conservering ammo when possible ) but most if not all just go through playthroughs just using pistols and it straight up takes me away from the emersion. This creator gets it, and he he my undying gratitude.

I played this game when i was 8 years old, managed to complete with a magazine walkthrough: took me like more than 100 hours. I still can't believe the level design, and the complexity of the exploration was so deep, for an old gen game. And i cant believe someone could finish it in 5 hours 😂

They contain reviews, descriptions, discussions, previews of games, cheats and walkthroughs of videogames all on paper Pages! Back in those days (up to 2004 in Italy), internet was not Born yet, so people had to rely on these writers and videogamers to bypass those levels. There were Maps, with enemies and secrets, and the walkthrough log with pinpoints on the Maps. Book on hand, little by Little. Can you Imagine the green platform level done with this method lol?

That was my favorite of all Tomb Raider games. I don't know how often I died in the Temple of Xian but the trap density and all those jumping combos are just insane. It's really nice to watch the "condensed" version, especially of that final part of the game. At 4:28:14 you can hear sounds of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, unmistakingly.

I think I’ve never seen anyone play this game yet with just the right patches added, but finished it too😮❤️. I tried patching my game too, but it was only until the widescreen patch. If I added the PSX patch, however, the widescreen patch reverts back to the 4:3 ratio. And the FMVs are removed (or do not play anymore) hahaha🤣❤️. I can't thank you enough for uploading this walkthrough Stev, I enjoyed watching it so much.. We got some gray hair Stev can you believe this? I was youngboy when this come out... If you ever played a "copy CD" then the game will stop there at 2:45:11 and you will find that gate is blocked haha...I had this experience, so i had to buy the original game and play it over :D

When I was young, I used to have a pirade CD too... And my problem was at 4:39:17 on those samurais. The whole ground was fake and Lara allways fell down into a void! LOL. I couldn't get over it... Only with cheat code (or buying a original one, wich wasn't my case...) Anyway. That was a very nice game to play!!! Best Regards

That's not mod actually. I replaced with upscaled 4K fmv file in post-editing.

I'm curious, how are you getting such a high definition picture from PS1 hardware? Are you using an HD upscaler cable? I swear it looks nothing like as good as this on my version. It looks more like the PC one!
