Despite the gameplay issues, I did like this game. The graphics were great and I loved Lara’s mildly Goth look. Wish hot Lara was still around.

Angel Of Darkness was so underrated and didn't deserve it's dark reputation. I know it's not possible but it'd be so awesome to have a Remake of it in the current Tomb Raider graphics engine. We need more of this Occult stuff back in Tomb Raider. And it was kinda fresh to mix city streets with tombs like in Paris, Louvre and Prague. It's a serious shame that this never got the trilogy it deserved. :'(

I seriously doubt an Angel of Darkness remake would get approved. The reason is that feminism and social justice have permeated every corner of the video gaming industry in the West. If a company made a game with this Lara, with the clothes she's wearing in this game then you can be sure that every land-whale feminist with blue hair would be screeching on Twitter calling this game "sexist," "misogynist," etc. and Lara's design would get blasted as "sexualized" and "exploitative." We're living in the worst era of video gaming history for sexy, beautiful characters like classic Lara.

@@starsiren9592 Well, to be honest since they had Angel Of Darkness's outfit in Rise Of The Tomb Raider. They could remake it because the clothing wouldn't matter... Plus the Denim Jacket ensemble she had wasn't s e x y, it was downright adorable.

@@TheHufflepuffSaint Yeah, they had the pixelated, crappy version from 2003, not a remake with modern graphics, modern textures and Lara's modern model. They also put classic Lara in there, the PS1 version that is... Why wouldn't they give us classic Lara with modern graphics? I already told you why.

@@starsiren9592 Oh I see what you mean. I didn't mind the older graphics. It was more Retro. :-) But I agree; shadow of the Tomb Raider advertising was supposed to tie all the franchise together leading to the Lara we knew and loved from 1999 but there was none of that. Just more of a whiney Lara. I'm so happy I got the older games on Steam, though it would be awesome to have in the graphics of the reboot's engine.

The Angel of Darkness was a downfall for Lara is what most believe. Personally I think it was corporate greed that ended good old Tomb Rider series. While I liked Legends to some degree, I didn't play other main 5 games that came after it. I simply wish original team came back and bring back real Lara in action for true tomb riding.
