This game SO deserves a definitive edition with updated graphics, bugs fixed, and possibly new stuff added to fill in the holes left behind due to the game's unfinished state. I know it's never gonna happen, but one can dream....

Well, there is a guy who is really into modding AOD (Nakamichi680). He made many fixes for the game already... there is a fan made texture pack too and it's constantly updated... i can see a fan made definitive edition in the future.

I installed this graphics touch-up yesterday, and I was amazed by how it enhances the lights overall. But what most impressed me was how the mod conveniently works for the main menu as well, to the extent of highlighting the different options with bright lens flares! It took me unawares as I was expecting the in-game graphics to be modded only. That special effect on the menu buttons did definitely add beautifulness to the act of navigating through them.

Too bright in some areas that need to be dark and gothic for the games theme. Take the darkness out and it takes away the atmosphere...

I know I'm late to the party, but this KILLS my framerate, I'm playing the steam version and it normally runs great, with some slowdown at certain bits. only way around this is to use the fast frame compression, but then the game just seems stutter, anyone had a similar issue?

I know this is a 5-year old video, but I installed this and now every time I try to launch the game from the launcher nothing happens; if I try to run the game's executable, I get a generic game error (ASSERTION: 'pData && length>0' at C:\projects\tomb raider\Game\ai\script_mgr.c(400)); in addition, I get a SYS_ERROR_STRUCTURED_EXCEPTION_HANDLE if I attempt to open the settings from the launcher. If I uninstall the mod by removing all of its files I have no problems.

it's a Rashade not a graphics mod

There were some mods used in the video. And it wasn't really reshade yet, it was an old shader pack, that reshade also used later. Anyway, the video title is mainly about marketing.

There is a control fix too, but i didn't use it. To be honest i didn't find the controls that bad using keyboard. Lara starts to move a bit slowly, but overall it feels very similar to the older games.
