love you for all this flares, youtube make everything darker so sometimes it's really helpful. I can't remember to see a harpun gun in other TRLE, maker don't use it very often, aqualung is good idea too i absolutely love this level, one of the best in my opinion

@@stevenPCGaming no, it's ok with flares:) just not everybody who record videos from TR use flares, then i can't see sh... So i really appreciate that you use them alot:) once i tried to watch a video from TRLE about "what happen after TR4" and it was soooo dark and guy who plays didn't use flare even once, 3/4 of gameplay was totally black screen. IQ like amoeba:P

@@reynavaldez13 when I was making tr2 revised. So many viewers came to me and complain why it's so dark. Later I used cellphone to check. Indeed it's way too dark. Ever since I will upload the video and check twice with cellphone which find out the brightness accurately.

The only thing I don't like about the classic Tomb Raider games is the control. When I played one of these games, I found it so frustrating. But regardless of that, I really love so much these games! They have something that the PS2, PS3 and PS4 games don't have! The first that comes to my mind it's the aesthetic!

The hardest thing for classics TR is that you need to understand how Lara jump, how Lara does everything. Like one square = Lara perform a running jump. Well yeah I agree with you. Some environment design is excellent and beautiful. They can't compete with Newer ones 😍😁

I can't believe I forgot to post this, but... wow. The level design and environmental storytelling are huge parts of why I got into Tomb Raider in the first place, and this level does that beautifully. Kudos to the levelmaker and the maker of this video for showing it off in its glory

If you wanted to you could make sense of this as cannon. I mean you couldnt possibly think lara explored the ENTIRE island in tr3. And the south pacific boss level was called the temple of puna. Like where hed go to pray and what not. But punas lair I would imagine would be far more sinister, IE the bodies scattered everuwhere, a lake of blood, everything just appearing far more sadistic. Idk. But in my head im counting this as cannon

For some reason, lighting a flare at all in my copy crashes the game. Any idea how to fix it? EDIT: Firing pistols has the same bug. I cannot get farther than 12:24 because of this and it pisses me off.

there's no crash log text? or some kind of error messages? Try to run the game in compatible mode?

@@stevenPCGaming There was a crash error (unlike when TRA Retold crashes on loading any levels) but I didn't post it at the time. I didn't understand a word of the crash log, but I think it's something to do with the default executable that comes with the game, as I replaced it with the one from Lost in The Amazon and that fixed the crashing bugs. (LITA has the same plugins as this mod) I just forgot to update the comment afterward. Still, it would have been nice for the mod to not have the bug by default in the first place. This trick doesn't fix TRA Retold crashing when loading levels though. It didn't used to do that either. I did somehow manage to fix the Retold crashes temporarily, but I don't know how I did it and it's gone back to crashing again. It does that in both easy & hard exes, compatibility or resolution does nothing and it doesn't matter if it's a new game, saved game or Lara's Home. Unlike Puna's Revenge's default executable having trouble with flares & pistols, there's no crash log this time nor an error message.

I don't recommend you replace TR4 exe file. Most of them are not compatible with another levels I think this issue you should ask LoreRaider. He could give you assistance
