Goes to show how much music has an effect in a beautiful environment but as for me like in Shadow Of The Tomb Raider I'll just put this track on MP3 and let it play on my PS4 Pro on repeat that's when roaming around collecting things not during the story adventure.

I did the same thing when I first played it. I've heard plenty of other songs from games that sound awesome, but this was probably the first time I stopped and just listened to the music in a game and took in the scenery.

@@eliassanchez1112Yes but the magic music often has more than one side, the tempel music from the game are magic, but it also has a sad side, that is if you remember sad things, you really feel the power in the magic......the voice is almost divine.....

This level opening was such an awesome moment. I just stood still and enjoyed the view with the music. Moments like this where some beautiful music merges with an awesome scenery and creates some unforgatble emotions.... something that newer games just arent able to do anymore.

The soundtracks in newer games are very flat and boring... they dont create emotions in you... they are very forgetable and just dont touch you.

@@michaeljablonowski5014 Man I normally hate this typical nostalgia talk but from the games I play now, I feel exactly the same. I especially think of Tomb Raider anf Assassin's Creed. They always had such an awesome soundtrack but suddenly they kinda decided to not put the soundtrack too much in the foreground and just add it now and then with generic music. But music like this one here adds so much to the atmosphere and I think this is one main point why I don't enjoy today's games that much

You know the new TR Reboots are really awesome games... but the soundtrack is really so awful in them.... i always combined Tomb Raider with an epic melodic soundtrack that lllets you feel some emotions... just awesome. In Shadow of the Tomb Raider i have the feeling that there is almost not a real soundtrack in there... i heard not more than some random boring violins and boring jungle drums... its just so fucking disappointing :(

The original 5 games didn't have background music. It was just diegetic sounds and ambiance, with occasional 10 second tracks when you entered a new area or hidden room. .The new games work too when they go for that route. It's just that when the reboot games decide to play music, the music is boring and generic and often not fitting of the scene playing. This is why the music doesn't work in the latest 3 games but it worked in the original 5. Honestly though, I prefer the LAU approach. These background tracks are some of the best themes in the series and gave a whole different vibe to the games. Not to mention they could even be turned off for fans of the original games. LAU knew it's target audience. The new games are not targeted towards Tomb Raider fans

+lovetobedandy Right!!!, but i don't think they will be making the games like they used to due to the success in the newer games, if you liked this game you should play rise of the tomb raider. It is better than the 2013 game(in my opinion) but still isn't as good as this game by far.

The ps3 is still great and this game still is beautiful!!!!! I only have rise of the tomb raider but underworld is more beautiful to look at!!!!!! Just like Alice madness returns too many games focus on graphics not art that's why these games look to unreal only ones that are great is until dawn and the quarry that team has art like underworld and this music thoooooooo!!!!!! Even clock tower 3 is still pretty I wanna see some of this games come back in hd!!!!!!
