Thanks Tom, for all your tips. I have been following you here in central Ontario for a few years now. I have become a better walleye fisherman on hard and soft water. This summer, I got a PB 30 3/4". ❤

The content of this video was excellent. You really explained your process well. I would love a "never fished before lake" video or a live if you are up for the challenge. Watching the process of finding fish I think is missing from most KZbin channels. You explain it well, but a lot can be learned by watching people work through their process. Boring as it might be.

Long time viewer, Tom! I've learned SO much from you. Pumped for my upcoming trip to Ontario! I'd love to see you do a video covering your gear for different times of the year - boots, pants, shirts, bibs and jackets (rain gear), tackle boxes, etc. Keep up the good work, and ignore all the Cheeto fingered haters out there!

The wire on the head is funny Tom. Is this passive aggression towards Mitchell not being behind the camera? 😂 another good video dude
@rpmilius3 ай бұрын
Thanks! You may have mentioned this, but I missed it. Do you fish first hit fish with the aggressive presentations (e.g., shiver minnow), then mid presentation (e.g., search bait) and finally finesse? Or do you start with search bait and work out from there?

85% of fisherman do not have FFS, let''s get back to SI,DI and 2D once in awhile. Just pitching at fish seen on FFS is fun for you, I get it. Don't lose site of where most of your audience is. Summer is trolling suspended fish and getting speed, color, wobble and other stuff dialed in. Let's throw in an old school vid with out any FFS in use. thanks Tom love your vids.

@mengkhang10373 ай бұрын
73% of statistics are made up. Why are you watch the video if none of this pertains to you... because youre entertained. FFS or not his knowledge and technique is beyond the average fisherman. The equipment is only as good as the person using it.

You didn’t watch much of this video your just blabbing. Story of the world. He literally talks about complainers complaining about what you are complaining about…. Starts at 8 min mark…. Talks plenty about non FFS. 85% is made up. I think 85% of ppl you know don’t have FFS. 85% of ppl I fish with have FFS. You think 1.5/10 ppl have FFS? I’m guessing you don’t fish much.
@joeljaros45093 ай бұрын
I disagree with your FFS opinion, this video is loaded with information easily translated to non FFS electronics fishing. Also, the last 3 out of 4 videos Tom has released was focused on non FFS fishing. You are not paying attention and clearly are one of the Kens against the technology. FFS is here to stay so just stop your bitchin and go fishin! Lastly, In my opinion the reason why there are so many FFS videos coming out now is that there are not many good videos out there. Where as if you search KZbin there are thousands of videos not using FFS you can watch. I do not know the exact number of non FFS videos Tom has released, but probably over 500 you can watch.

I had the same question, so I’ll chime in and recommend a couple…”Walleye Talk” (no new episodes in awhile but just two MN guides talking walleye fishing with some sparse comic relief) and “Diaries of a Lodge Owner” (not always fishing related but still pretty good).

Anybody who has a mega live in their boat should have a lower creel limit. Sure it looks fun but in my mind unethical. If a normal limit is 5 fish a person with mega live should be 2 fish. It just makes it to easy to target fish.
@timlisi8713 ай бұрын
Anybody who has a vehicle trustworthy enough to drive across state lines should have a lower creel limit because it's unfair to people who can't drive long distances to go fishing. Anybody who has a boat should have a lower creel limit because sometimes it's unfair to the shore fishermen. Anybody who hires a guide should have a lower creel limit because 1. It's almost guaranteed you're going to catch fish and 2. The guide often gives the client his limit worth of fish as well. Etc, etc, etc till the creel limit is zero to make all the complainers happy.
