Kara's progress is the most motivating thing in the past 2 years 😁 So stoked for her

Tom should have a side gig as MTB instructor..he seems to have a very chill way of explaining whats up ...Kara improving at an exponential rate...great content...watching your videos is the best way to get though a day at work.....cheers 🇨🇦

Kara's become such a great rider. But her expressions at 7:30 just cracked me up.

Holy man, Kara! How amazing! Ive commented before how much I wish I could still do this as a female at 40! My dream was to be able to have someone teach me this in my “younger” years. It’s been a pleasure watching you progress and ive lived vicariously through you while I watch it. However, I still WANT to be able to progress like this at my age! Incredible stuff! Way to go!
@coachcurt7606 Жыл бұрын
No reason you can't improve at 40, so long as you don't have medical problems that won't allow it. Do like Kara, always looking at progression, stay within comfort while pushing your own upper limits. Just remember, over 40, healing is slower. If you happen to marry a champion dirt jumper to coach you, that would also help. 😂😂
@lbomb8 Жыл бұрын
@@coachcurt7606 haha having a dirt jumping champion partner would surely help! I just meant I was never really taught at a younger age when I was really into biking how to hit any bigger jumps or kickers. To me now it would seem wild to start learning because of the healing at 40 lol! In my brain I still want to learn but I think my body would tell me to fuck right off lol

You're far from over the hill...I took this up at 48 and am loving it even if I am a bit more cautious than younger me would have been 😆

Amazing progression. Kara was looking so much looser on her warm up runs, and did both the kicker ramps perfectly. Next up - back flips!
@junka1975 Жыл бұрын
That was so cool. Kara looked epic going over that table top. She hit those kickers so smoothly. Tom is having a ball too because he has Kara getting better and that makes his rides more fun too as he can now carry more speed riding the trails with her. Awesome stuff.

Such a difference from Kara during lockdown using the little hopper ramp to these big jumps, better than me any day

Great stuff from the pair of you. Toms motivational techniques need to be bottled and distributed! Kara has progressed so much under Toms tutelage that her ability and confidence have grown massively. If only I could say the same for myself 🤪

I love how fears vary so much .....I have no trouble with those kickers but still have massive issues with the gaps on the traps 😁 I think the middle 8ft ramp is a smoother ride than the smaller one.
@dwmtb761 Жыл бұрын
Well done! I rode the 6ft one last weekend, was weird coming face to face with it as I’m not used to hitting such big jumps either - but like you found out it was way less scary than a lot of the gap jumps they have there!
