more more moreで本格的にブレイクした時、渋谷のアップルストアで、ライブしてくれて、寒空の中の長蛇の列に並び、本当に至近距離で二人を見れた。その後、クラブに通い詰めて、ヤスタカさんに、何度か会えた。一方的に話しかけただけだけど＾＾；もう、あんなことは起きないだろうな。恵比寿LIQUID ROOMで、やってくれたライブハウスの、ワンマン。泣きながらせっかくとれたチケット破いた私は、馬鹿だった。もう遠い存在だね。昔よりも、もっと、もっと。またライブハウスで、やってくれないかな・・・。無理かな・・・。

Looking back I didn't even enjoy this show that much because I had just gotten off a plane and was dead tired and just decided to sit back on the upper level and film it. I should have been up by the stage and gotten into the show. Oh well, here it is. I did see them 2 more times in the next week, but there's only so much to be said for filming a show. You separate yourself from the show.

Heroyesterday They're performing August 6 at the Rock In Japan Festival in Ibaraki (between Tokyo and Sendai). I saw them at the same festival in 2014. I don't see any other live dates scheduled this year. I live in Tokyo so of course it would be more convenient for me to see them here. They almost seem semi-retired now, since they haven't had an album in 3 and a half years now, so I don't how much longer they will exist. Nakata still DJ's in Tokyo twice a month but mostly does his new solo stuff. Also, these three songs are just the encore. I had the whole rest of the show on KZbin separately as one video, but it got blocked for "copyright reasons". At least they let this encore video stay. I've even had people ask me "Why did you block the whole regular part of this show?" I didn't block it! Why would I block my own video? LOL.

Tom? And I mean this with all sincerity. I hate you. Not only do you live in the Country I want to live in most, you live in the City I want to live in most, and you've seen my favorite musical creator who i will most likely never see live. Bastard. :P They've been quasi-retired for some time now as you mentioned, simply due to the guy being so goddam busy. He technically does the music for 4 bands now? That's a lot of time. A lot of energy. Can't blame him from pulling back on one that's his 'semi pet project' at this point. They block all kinds of stuff for weird reasons. Full concert is up for Perfume, but you put up a clip of it? Blocked. Who knows.

Heroyesterday Nakata actually DJ's tonight at Sound Museum Vision in Tokyo around the same time as the Japan vs. Belgium World Cup game (bad timing) and it's a humid night out so I'm just going to watch the game in the A/C at home in Shinjuku. But I'm going to see Nakata DJ at Womb club (also in Shibuya) on Friday the 13th his month. He DJ's in Shibuya twice a month (Sound Museum Vision and Womb) so that's 24 times a year. Fun trivial facts for you: the neighborhood Sound Museum Vision is in is filled with street prostitutes and the neighborhood of Womb is all love hotels. And the 2 clubs are less than a 10 minute walk from each other.

I fortunately saw them in Los Angeles in April 2019. I never thought I would see them unless I went to Japan. Still hope to see them there. It was a short set because playing with four other artists including Kyary. Both were incredible.

Rossie White I wish I had been up front, but I was sitting back in the rafters videoing it. I've been up front at smaller Capsule shows though. This was a big New Year's event. Also, Makuhari Messe is massive, in Chiba an hour east of where I live in west Tokyo. The last time I was there was in 2015 and it was for a furniture convention. LOL. Part of the 2020 Olympics will be held there though, for indoor stuff - probably gymnastics, etc.
