Sold my R400 and bought the Tomei, which I had originally wanted but was doubting it. My only regret was not getting the tomei before anything. I love it and it keeps me smiling, still on stock down pipe and headers, crazy pops/crackle/rumble.

Not sure if you found one but Fujitsubo should have a mesh exhaust fill gate for the empty hole on your VA. Just type in Fujitsubo VA exhaust fill and I think you'll find it.

Love the contents you put up. Question for for you. Do you still have the tomei on your car? Have you had any issues with welds cracking? Apparently Tomei Japan no longer support or distant themselves Tomei USA due to Tomei USA making inferior products which lead to cracks in the welds. Can you make a review video of ownership of the tomei since install addressing any issues or fixes you did to it? There are currently no user reviews on youtube reviewing ownership after a couple years. Greatly appreciated.

I am picking up a Cobb Titanium CBE and Cobb SS catted DP in two weeks, haven't heard too much about that system as it is extremely pricey. Hope it gives a similar whistle as the Tomei being it's also a titanium setup!

I wanna do Tomei from headers and turbo back. Very curious if there's a all Tomei product video somewhere. Just the Tomei arms turbo is good for 350 wheel hp on a stock engine and my RA is ready... In 8 years or 80k km when my warrenty goes away lol... A catbacks been ordered though 😁

Great vid as always JR. Subispeed has a decent exhaust delete cover. I’ve had good luck with it. Only thing I changed was the hardware from self tapping screws to stainless bolts and nuts.

Thank you for such amazing video. I have a question about the STi that is not related to the exhaust. With your accessport, which 6 gauges are you monitoring? I am currently running Cobb OTS stage 1 and i monitor DAM, Feedback knock as well as AF correrction 1. I get some knocks here and therer in normal waste gate, and I datalogged my car and sent it to Cobb they said it is fine. But, as for the AF correction, i am confused exactly what value i should be seeing. Do you have any ideas on that?

I have the killer bee header and castles downpipe with this cat back. Yours is definitely louder than mine. Wow. The headers make a world of a difference . I do agree with you though, the drone isn’t that bad. The Q300 drone was worse in my opinion and gave me headaches.

I love the Tomei Exhaust. The sound is incredible. I don't like that you have to get rid of the quad exhaust on your car. The quad exhaust on my Subie looks great. Too bad Tomei can't design a quad exhaust design. I'm new to the community so I apologize for asking maybe a dumb question. If any of you could school me on why Tomei cannot design its exhaust and it be a quad type like the OEM originals please let me know Subie Nation. Love ya all.

Do you lift off the throttle when you’re shifting fast like that? My 19 STi is stock, but it bucks hard if I lift off the gas on my shifts. If I NLS, it’s smooth.

If you have an Accessport, you can use the no lift feature.

I don’t have an Accessport yet, the car is 100% stock. If I lift on the shifts it bucks and doesn’t like it, if I no lift it’s super smooth. Doesn’t matter if I have traction on or off, or what drive mode it’s in. The bucking is kind of annoying lol. So I just no lift shift it 😂

There is no way the stainless steel N1 exhaust can compare to a titanium exhaust. The material brings a certain level of tone. Plus the N1 is known to drone real bad.

Never had any issues. It take a little time tweaking so that it doesn't hit anything. The Tomei has a lot of adjustability.
