1D are a boy band. Mcfly are a band. Two totally un-comparable things. Boybands sing and do little dances. It's all about the looks and the voice. Mcfly are a band. They write, play and produce their own music. Just a bonus that they got good looks too ;) You have to know the difference to be honest cause i don't understand why people compare when they're on total different leagues. I get that they both became big so young but in total different ways and through total different genres and styles. Mcfly are different than everyone else. I'm not saying that for the sake of it, name a band like them (a band that exists, anyone says busted and i swear down haha)

Think about it. Tom wrote this when he was probably around 19/20. Wrote lyrics and melodies like this so beautifully at that age whilst struggling with bipolar that he didn't even understand or know he had. Mcfly are incomparable. To (especially) one direction and all boy bands (even more because they aren't even from the same bloody genre), busted or any band of the like. They hold something incredibly special which is why we miss them so much during this break whilst they begin to start building families.

I don't know. Tom's an awesome musician, but I prefer Danny's vocals. Harry and Dougie are great instrumentalists and are extremely entertaining. The band wouldn't be the same without them. I think McFly's better together. I'm all for them collaborating with Gi, though. And Carrie. Which they've sort of already done with Love is on the Radio.

I love Tom Fletcher as much as the rest of the McFly fans, and I love Tom's acoustic versions. But I'm surprised there hasn't been a comment about the thumbnail for this video. To me it looks like Tom's "dropping the kids off at the pool" if you catch my drift. ;) But seriously, every member of McFly is amazing and amazingly-attractive. I don't understand why they don't try to become popular in the US. I'd compare them to the Beatles!

I was in Kentish Town Show Two the other day and saw She Falls Asleep live. I absolutely love this song and that night in the Anthology Tour Tom made a mistake in this song, which made the performance even more special: the song is beautiful itself, and a mistake just shows these awesome artists are humans. One of the reasons why I love McFly and Tom Fletcher is that mistakes are accepted and you can move on and keep on creating. Dare to suck! You are a great inspiration and I hope you read this text!
