As a Niner fan, but big fan of your show, definitely a tough week, haha. Alas though, I'm a diehard 49er fan since I was 7 years old, and we are desperate, and I mean DESPERATE for a W right now. I think it comes down (as it often does) to the turnover battle. Brock Purdy has never lost a game where he's had zero turnovers, so if he protects the ball, and we run it effectively, it should be Niners in this one at the most legendary stadium in the sport, and most sports really. I can't back it up with stats at all, but it seems AZ does well in SEA, and SEA tends to be more competitive in AZ, but bad things happen to the Hawks in AZ. I think Earl, Chancellor, Sherman, Pete, and maybe Russ all played/coached for their last time for SEA in AZ. Also the Super Bowl loss. So bad things happen to the Seachickens down in the desert. AZ always plays us tough, even if they suck. I'm no longer expecting anything this year. I'll take any victory or encouraging signs, but for the most part I think they simply need to address QB and the offensive and defensive line. A few more drafts and free agency periods before we can really start to assess the direction of the franchise. We're still in a rebuilding period.

Cardinals are 5-4 at Seattle since 2015. If they continue to dominate in the run game, I like their chances. Forecast shows a 50% chance of rain all day there. Could be a factor.

It's unlikely they address QB anytime soon. Geno is good enough that it will be hard to upgrade unless they get a top draft pick. I'm just praying they actually get o-line in the offseason. Also it's looking pretty likely Geno is going to get the contract extension he is pushing for unless the Seahawks collapse

@@Nakturnal_1 5-4 is a dang good record @ SEA. SEA doesn't seem to have a home field advantage vs AZ. And though you'd think rain would benefit SEA since you'd think SEA would be more used to playing in the rain, it rained a few weeks ago vs I think the Giants, and the rain seemed to affect the Seahawks more. Maybe they will be better at it now? I dunno. But AZ has won against some pretty good teams, so they may be even better than their record suggests. Division game, will be tough either way. But I'd kinda expect maybe AZ wins in SEA, and SEA maybe plays better in AZ. We seem to have large Hawks crowds in AZ.

@@brubie7584 Yeah I agree on no imminent change with Geno. I don't even know who their backup is. I also would draft linemen first, and then look for a QB of the future. I'm not sure how they find one, because they'll probably generally be picking around 15th in the draft, maybe worse, so you probably won't get an immediate franchise QB at that spot. So my guess is they get one in free agency. Probably a veteran QB who is replaced by an up and comer, or a starter who lost a job to a veteran but maybe could still have untapped potential and just needs the right coach, system, and guys around him. In short, pretty much a younger Geno. But most likely they'd still only be sorta a fill-in QB until they find someone else. It's hard to find a true franchise QB. There are probably really only about ten in the league at any given time. The rest are guys who can hold the position for 3-5 years.

@@shaunholt Ya, you can't just get a new QB. Spending a mid-late first round pick is likely not going to be worth it, and trading options would be like Justin Fields or Zach Wilson type QB, likely a side-grade at best. Only option would be trading up in the draft which would be really risky and expensive gamble, and would probably mean the cant fix their O-line or other problems.
