I see him, independent, doing this on his own with a static camera, and I get lost in the characters and forget that it's just him. Each character is unique and nuanced and he does an amazing job. I'm sure there are others that may do it better or have better production, but I think Tom deserves his flowers for how well he crafts and adapts his stories, characters, and scripts on a week to week basis.

As a Browns fan, this episode hit deep. I truly felt for Ed as well as Tim. The story of how the Browns moved made sense and finally started to paint the picture of what happened between Ed and Tim. I know I’m supposed to hope the Ravens lose so we can be #1 in the division but I want to see Ed get that call back and repair his damaged relationships. Amazing work as always Tom. ❤

It's strange, earlier in the year the NFC North was the heavy drama that got my blood pumping and the AFC North was fun and whimsical. Now since they merged I feel like the NFC is in some sort of holding pattern waiting to reveal something and all the emotions and pain is with the AFC.

It's easy to dismiss the problems that the Bears caused the Lions, and the fact that the Bears have been pretty competitive since their big loss in Kansas. The weather should also be a factor that might mitigate some of the Lions strengths. The Lions have a difficult finish to their schedule with 4 tough away games in the last 6 weeks. They still have a lot of work to do.

Sad but true: It's worth repeating that Brandon Staley lasted longer as an HC than Matt Canada lasted as an OC. Keep in mind that Canada worked for the Steelers, an organization notorious for firing coaches once in a blue moon. Goes to show how inept the Chargers organization is.
