You don't have to teach them about Santa. We did not celebrate Santa. I told them the truth. But cartoon watching of Santa and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer was watched ...before Christmas at Christmas time! They were told that other kids may believe in Santa until they were older. I had no problems with my kids! We celebrated the true meaning of Christmas.

Wowwww the timing of this! I came across a lady I’ve never spoken with and told her these things and the same scriptures. She had a bunch of idols and a metaphysics store and called herself a medium. When I told her the truth and shared Jesus and His Blood, she said that we have to agree to s disagree. She said she was doing things for that good and helping people. My husband and I stopped celebrating Christmas because we weren't celebrating Christ birth and we didn't see anyone else celebrating Christ birth. It is a very commercialized holiday that has to do with excessive spending on wanted things. And until I see in the Bible for myself and through God's spirit to celebrate his birth, I have no conviction about this. There are occasions in the Bible where God tells us to celebrate and we as the body of Christ don't even commemorate those. Following the traditions of the world, isn't following Christ.

I have refused to celebrate it for a while because I don't see it in the Bible, and I sense something not right about it. Also, won't do things just because the majority are doing it. It doesn't make spiritual sense as a believer to celebrate something the world celebrates - that's highly contradictory spiritually! I find the idea of giving what's called 'Christmas gifts' from a Christian standpoint as quite daft (forgive my use of words); can just be called 'end of year' something.... Reading through the New Covenant (Testament), notice the emphasis on Jesus' death and importantly - His resurrection. Guess what, the world doesn't and cannot celebrate Jesus' resurrection - they don't even acknowledge it happened! Read through 1 Corinthians 15 as an example of the one of many scriptures that emphasize Jesus' death and resurrection, which is the Greatest Gift to humanity. See also 2 Corinthians 5:21

I have not celebrated christmas in the sense of the worlds way for years, and the more I grow in spirit and in truth the more I see that celebrating christmas is our way of worship no matter how we choose to do it in other words leaning on our own understanding. It’s funny that people will fight to have the right to celebrate Christmas but will argue why the sabbath is done away with. Shabbat was apart of the 10 commandments. It’s the only commandment even God himself practiced to show the significance. It’s the only commandment that starts with remember. Everyday day of the week was number as day 1, day 2 and ect. Whenever the 7th day was referred it specifically called it Shabbat to show how important it was. Just an observation. I realize in this generation we don’t care about the originality of things as long as we can place a new meaning on it that makes it good. My question is why was December 25 specifically chosen. If we can prove Yeshua was born a different time of the year why we don’t celebrate his birthday closer to then. Everyday I see why the Bible says the road to heaven is very narrow and few will find it. As servants it’s a dangerous thing when we want to celebrate everything and be apart of everything. We are called to be set apart. This is why Yisrael was so special. They were a set apart nation. We have become a nation and a people that cant be seen different from the world. Everything the world does we do. This is exactly why Christianity is a joke and we are made fun of Everyday. We don’t stand for anything.

This year Feast of (temple) Dedication (haggai 2, renamed Hanukkah during Maccabees revolt) falls on Christmas day. Brother (Tomi) if I can get you to read Exodus 12 verse 1-3 (God) told (Moses) to make Abib the first month of months. (Abib) means March and in the Jewish calendar it's called (Nisan) .(Jesus) was born six months after John the Baptist his cousin.(Jesus) was born in mid March and mid April back then their months was counted from the 15 of the month to the 15th of the next month.(Satan) used Pope Gregory the X111 in 1582 to change the calendar.By changing the calendar it would throw the peoples of (God) out of order misleading them , the months have to be aligned as (God) told Moses how to align them.
