It makes no sense to compare them. I like 3s better as well but then again I like 3s better than any other fighting game. Third Strike is so unique that it isreally not possible to compare it with any other fighting game out there, so it will stay beloved for as long as people play fighting games. For me, it's the only fighting game I still play and practice, and it will stay like that no matter what comes out because I don't have the time for other games, and nothing will ever feel again like 3s. It doesn't make 3s better though, it's just that I like it's meachanics and it's feel better, probably just like you and many others :).
