Tomintoul has some really good expressions

Jason, Sauternes is *not* a fortified wine style. No grape spirit (brandy) is ever added to it. Instead it is (typically) a wine made from botrytised grapes, where botrytis cinerea (fungus) has infected the grapes and partially (or largely) dehydrated them on the vine, producing a lusciously sweet and deliciously complex flavour. English-speakers sometimes term such styles "dessert" wines, although French-speakers more often serve them as an aperitif with (e.g. blue) cheese or paté.

Unfortunately, the expressions of Angus Dundee's distilleries are blatantly overpriced in Bulgaria, which has kept me from buying any. Tomintoul is also out of stock. I don't regret so much about Tomintoul as their expressions are mostly bottled at low ABV, but Glencadam I just cant convince myself buying. Glencadam 10, albeit being praised as one of the best 10 yo malts on the market, is 35-40 euros whisky, but in Bulgaria its price is pushing 50. The 13 and 15 yo are priced much worse. As for the Dram Mor, I've come across several bottlings of theirs, the oldest being 11 yo if memory serves me right, and their prices were plain absurd. All were selling for 150 euros. No, thanks. BTW, Highland Park have put the second release of their Cask Strength edition. I'm curious to hear your opinion about it. It is already available in Bulgaria for roughly 52 euros. Cheers😀
